Introduction to Program
The Master of Education (M.Ed.) distance learning program is designed for the classroom teacher seeking an advanced degree with an emphasis on curriculum and instruction. The candidates for this program are motivated to reach out and learn through a new mode of delivery and interaction. With the growing concern of quality education, teachers today need understanding of many different learning styles and cultural backgrounds to facilitate learning in a way that allows students to reach full potential in each classroom.

SPU requirement for the award of M.Ed. is completion of 32 credit hours.

Entry Requirement
The program is designed for those who have an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university or a comparable degree from a recognized institution outside of the United States. Also required is a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better.

SPU requirement for the award of B.Ed. is completion of 120 credit hours. Student entering into the program with an associate degree or equivalent qualification in relevant discipline would receive an advanced standing of 60 credit hours.
