If the
applicant requests credit for self-acquired competencies, he or she will be
required to submit a Life Learning Portfolio for evaluation. Students must prepare a portfolio of
their learning experiences documented by licenses and certifications from credited and non-accredited colleges and schools. Professional training programs through local corporations may be included in
their portfolio .If the student has extensive knowledge that cannot be supported through areas of learning covered under the prior paragraph, a narrative essay portfolio will be required. It will rely more on the student's explanation of the learning outcomes and the practical applications of his experiences. Examples of supporting documentation include work samples, certificates of completion of workshops or seminars and recommendation letters from colleagues and employers. |
